Overview

Cover Supervisor

TeacherActive are currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor for work in mainstream secondary schools in the Mansfield area, Nottinghamshire, for an immediate start. This Cover Supervisor role encompasses all year groups from years 7 to 11, up to year 13 in schools that have 6th form sections. The role is vital in ensuring continuity of provision for students across all age groups.

Responsibilities

• Manage the children in the classroom and ensure they are working on the tasks set. Lesson plans will be set by the teacher you would be covering and all work will be handed to you by your line manager.

Ideal candidate

• Experience working with children aged between 3-18 (tutoring, mentoring, 1-1, coaching etc.).
• Good classroom management skills.
• Excitement about working with children.
• Ability to be proactive and get involved.
