Join Our Team as a Cover Supervisor

Newstaff is seeking experienced Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Leighton Buzzard. If you are an Overseas trained teacher, have started or completed a PGCE, are a Degree-qualified Tutor, or have teaching experience, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities include:

1. Supervising and managing classroom behaviour
2. Delivering pre-prepared lessons and encouraging student engagement
3. Promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment
4. Supporting students as needed
5. Reporting issues or incidents to the leadership team
6. Collaborating with the school team to ensure continuity of learning

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a school or educational setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for working with students
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour
