Academics are looking for confident, adaptable individuals to work as Cover Supervisors across Secondary Schools in Stoke-on-Trent. With immediate starts available, this is an ideal opportunity for aspiring teachers, graduates, or anyone experienced working with young people.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, following pre-planned lessons where provided.
• Ensure students stay focused on their learning tasks.
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
• Handle any classroom issues in the absence of a teacher.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Experience working with young people in any capacity (schools, youth work, sports coaching etc)
• Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills
• Confidence delivering lessons across a variety of subjects (strong GCSE grades in Maths and English)
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and proactive
• Flexibility and reliability
• Enhanced, clean DBS Certificate
