Cover Supervisor - Secondary Schools Across Lambeth
  • Position: Cover Supervisor
  • Location: Various Secondary Schools Across Lambeth
  • Contract Type: Flexible, Temporary, and Full-time Opportunities
  • Salary: £100-£115 per day (depending on experience)

Are you passionate about working with young people and making a difference in their education? Do you have the confidence and skills to manage a classroom and help students achieve their potential in the absence of their regular teacher?

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to join a network of secondary schools across Kent. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring continuity of learning, supporting students, and maintaining a positive learning environment when teachers are absent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support students during lessons in the absence of their regular teacher
  • Ensure that students remain on task and engaged with their work
  • Maintain a positive and productive classroom atmosphere
  • Provide feedback on student progress and behaviour to the school staff
  • Support students with any queries or issues regarding lesson content
  • Uphold the school's policies and procedures, including safeguarding requirements
Key Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with young people (preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • A positive and proactive attitude towards student learning
  • Enhanced DBS check (if not already held, the school can assist with this process)
