Vision for Education are working closely with a large Secondary school in Margate who currently have a vacancy for a Cover Supervisor to join their school. You will be required to supervise whole classes, small groups or individual students ensuring they remain engaged with pre - prepared work. The school are seeking an individual who is enthuastuic, dedicated and have a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse needs. This is a fulltime role and is due to start ASAP.

About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining continuity of education during teacher absences. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising whole classes, small groups, or individual students, ensuring they remain engaged with pre-prepared work.
  • Managing classroom behaviour to create a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Assisting students in understanding and completing tasks set by the absent teacher.
  • Communicating effectively with teaching staff to provide feedback on student progress and behaviour.
