Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Location: Gloucestershire

Start Date: Immediate

Salary: £110 - £130 per day

TeacherActive are proud to be working with a large number of Secondary Schools across Gloucestershire. We are actively recruiting for dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support our school network with quality and consistent staff.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting schools by ensuring continuity in students' learning when teachers are absent. You'll manage classrooms, maintain discipline, and ensure that students stay on task with pre-set work.

Our Cover Supervisors play a vital role in schools, whether on a day-to-day, long-term, or permanent basis. The role of a Cover Supervisor doesn't include planning and preparation; however, strong communication and classroom management skills are a must.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

1. CACHE LEVEL 2/3 OR 6 months experience
2. Be confident in their ability to manage a class of students within the age range 11 to 16
3. Be able to manage behaviour in the classroom to ensure students remain engaged
4. Be flexible to work throughout the school within different departments and with different age ranges daily
