Cover Supervisor - Secondary Schools

Location: Grimsby, DN31, DN34, DN35

Pay: £100-£120 per day

Provide Education is welcoming Cover Supervisors to bring their classroom experience to our network of schools in the Grimsby area.

If you've already got experience as a Cover Supervisor, or you're a graduate looking to get into teaching, we'd love to hear from you. This role is perfect for someone ready to grow their experience and make a real impact in schools.

Role summary

As a cover supervisor, you are responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects to keep students engaged and focused on their learning. You will also provide feedback to teaching staff and help maintain a positive environment.

Someone who is the perfect fit for this role may have previous cover supervisor experience, maybe a TA ready to progress their career to the next step or even a sports coach.

Key responsibilities
  • Teach a variety of subjects using preprepared resources.
  • Provide feedback to school staff after each lesson.
  • Build rapport with students quickly.
  • Be confident, organised and adaptable.
What are we looking for?
  • Experience working with young people in education, coaching or a similar setting.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Confidence to manage a classroom independently.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Enthusiasm for supporting young people's learning.
  • The ideal candidate would have an Enhanced DBS on the Update service (if you don't have one, we can help you apply for one)
