Contract: Flexible / Long-Term / Temp-to-Perm
Start Date: Immediate

Steady in the storm? We need you.

We’re on the lookout for confident, reliable Cover Supervisors in Dudley—people who can walk into a classroom and keep things ticking over when the usual teacher’s away. If you’ve got a calm head, a firm but friendly presence, and a decent sense of humour (optional but appreciated), we’d love to hear from you.

What’s the role like?

You’ll be covering lessons across a range of subjects—no planning, no marking, just keeping things running smoothly. You’ll follow pre-set work, manage the class, and make sure pupils stay on task.

The schools are looking for someone who can:

  • Step in and take charge confidently

  • Build quick rapport with students

  • Keep behaviour on point and learning focused

  • Adapt fast to different subjects and classroom styles

You’ll need:

  • Experience working with secondary-aged pupils (ideally in schools, youth work, or tutoring)

  • A proactive, can-do attitude

  • Solid classroom management skills

Bonus if you’ve got:

  • A degree or teaching experience

  • A DBS on the update service (or be happy to get one)

  • Thrive training—we offer it for free if not!

Why join Protocol Education?

  • Weekly PAYE pay (no umbrella faff)

  • Choose when and where you work
