Cover Supervisor – Deal

Job Title: School Cover Supervisor
Location: Deal
Start Date: November 2025
Salary: £500.00 to £600.00 per week (PAYE)

Are you looking to teach within secondary schools but not sure where to start?
Would you like to experience working in a school before starting a teacher training course?

Academics are seeking local Cover Supervisors to join their team and work at secondary schools in Deal and local surrounding areas.

The role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre‑planned work across various subjects to 11‑16 year olds. You will be expected to manage behaviour in the classroom in accordance to the school policy, try your best to answer any questions from the students and collect all completed work after the lesson and return to the appropriate teacher.

Requirements:

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of educational professionals
• Have a passion for working with young people
• Be confident

The minimum experience required for this role is experience working with students aged between 11‑16 in an education or coaching capacity.
