Career Teachers are seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work on a flexible, day-to-day basis within a well-established secondary school in the Croydon area. This role offers the flexibility to choose when you work, with opportunities for regular supply or occasional days to fit around other commitments.

You will be paid at competitive day rates and receive support from a dedicated consultant to help you find assignments across different year groups.

Cover Supervisor – Day-to-Day Supply and Long Term

Career Teachers are looking for confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work on a flexible, day-to-day basis within a well-established secondary school in the Croydon area.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise secondary school classes during teacher absence
• Deliver pre-prepared work and ensure students remain focused and engaged
• Manage classroom behaviour confidently and positively
• Follow the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies
• Create a calm, productive learning environment

Who We’re Looking For

You will ideally have experience working with young people in a school, education or youth setting and, most importantly, be confident managing a secondary classroom.

You should be adaptable, professional and comfortable walking into different classes and quickly establishing positive boundaries with students.
