A leading educational institution in Cheltenham seeks a Cover Supervisor to oversee student progress during teacher absences. This permanent position involves supervising lessons set by teachers and may include additional support in learning areas. Ideal for individuals returning to teaching, this role offers professional development opportunities and a commitment to safeguarding students. Full-time hours are expected during the academic terms, along with an inclusive work environment.
Start date: As soon as possible
Salary: Grade 6 (Points 15-20) £30,024 - £32,597 pro rata. (Actual pro‑rata range £22,634 - £24,574 per annum)
Hours of Work: 32.5 hours per week / Term time plus one week for inset days
Contract: Permanent

We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to supervise students in the absence of a Teacher, ensuring that students continue to make progress. All work will be set by the Teacher.
The Cover Supervisor may also support learning in subject areas when there is no need for lessons to be covered. This is an excellent opportunity for someone considering or returning to the teaching profession. All Cover Supervisors will be enrolled in our Teacher Professional Development programme receiving weekly support and coaching alongside our teaching team.
