Cover Supervisors Required - Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

We are currently recruiting for Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Cheltenham. Positions are available to start immediately (and from January 2026) on a short‑term, long‑term, part‑time, or full‑time basis, offering excellent flexibility.

The Role

Cover Supervisors play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of learning when teachers are absent.

Responsibilities

• Delivering pre‑prepared lesson material to classes
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Supporting pupils to remain focused and engaged in their learning
• Ensuring a safe and productive learning environment

Working Hours & Pay

• Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
• From £120 per day
• Flexibility to choose the days you are available from 2‑5 days!

Requirements

• Minimum of A‑level qualifications (or equivalent) but a degree is preferred
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Confidence to lead and manage groups of students
• A professional and proactive attitude towards supporting education
