Milk Education is seeking confident, adaptable, and enthusiastic individuals to work as General Cover Supervisors across secondary schools in the local area. Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver pre‑prepared lessons to classes in the absence of the teacher.
  • Ensure students remain on task, engaged, and focused throughout the lesson.
  • Manage classroom behaviour following school policies and expectations.
  • Provide support to students where needed and promote a positive learning environment.
  • Supervise various year groups across KS3 and KS4.
  • Communicate effectively with teaching staff regarding pupil progress, behaviour, and any issues arising.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Confidence working with young people in an educational or similar environment.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and adaptable.
  • Previous school experience is beneficial but not essential—full support provided.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
  • Competitive weekly pay based on experience.
