Court of Protection Solicitor | Manchester | NQ+

Join one of the UK's leading Court of Protection teams, recognised nationally for its depth of expertise and compassionate approach to protecting the interests of vulnerable clients. This is a superb opportunity to work within a highly regarded team supporting a diverse caseload of property and financial affairs deputyships for individuals who have lost capacity through serious injury, illness, or age-related conditions.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Managing complex deputyship cases: Acting on behalf of clients who have lost capacity to manage their own affairs, including those affected by catastrophic injuries, birth injuries, or dementia-related illnesses.
  • Supporting the professional deputy: Working under instruction to manage property, finances, and assets in the client's best interests, ensuring consistent, compassionate, and compliant case management.
  • Engaging in broader firmwide collaboration: Working alongside colleagues in litigation, private client, and healthcare to provide joined-up advice and exceptional client care.
  • Contributing to team growth and client relationships: Supporting business development initiatives, converting warm leads, and helping strengthen the team's presence within the wider firm.
About You
  • Qualified Solicitor (NQ+) with experience in Court of Protection matters
  • Understanding of litigation processes and financial management for vulnerable clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with empathy and professionalism
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple matters while maintaining accuracy and care
  • Collaborative, solutions-focused, and motivated to grow within a national market leader
