Someone with a proven track record of delivering exceptional course conditions and a keen eye for detail, they will take pride in their craft and continually strive for excellence. This is a people‑centred leadership role, requiring someone who can inspire, develop, and lead the Greenkeeping team to consistently deliver the highest possible standard.

About Tidworth Golf Club

Founded in 1908 when a 9‑hole course was built on training land on the western edge of Tidworth. It was later extended to 18 holes between 1919‑1921. Tidworth’s origins are steeped in history and prestige, with the original designs enhanced by celebrated architect Harry Colt in the early 20th century, reinforcing its downland qualities.

Set in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside and alongside the picturesque Salisbury Plains, Tidworth Golf Club is a spectacular downland course characterised by hills, fast running sloping ground with changes in elevation and exposure to the elements that deliver a blend of enjoyable yet challenging golf. Ranked among the Top 3 in Wiltshire and spanning 156 acres of rolling terrain, the course meanders through a natural landscape offering breathtaking views.

Tidworth Golf Club is more than a premier golfing destination; it’s a community hub known for its welcoming spirit, vibrant social scene, strong and loyal membership and its consistent quality and playability throughout the year thanks to its chalk base.

Over the decades, Tidworth has remained committed to preserving its rich heritage while continuously evolving through course enhancements, leveraging technological advancements within the industry to optimise efficiency, plant health, and the quality, consistency and presentation benefits this delivers.

Today, Tidworth Golf Club stands as a testament to tradition and forward‑thinking. With its consistent investment into autonomous technology on the course in recent years, offering a unique blend of natural beauty, historical depth, and a commitment to excellence.
