Administrative responsibilities such as updating registers, uploading assessment outcomes, and preparing for internal verification will also form part of your remit. Beyond day‑to‑day delivery, you’ll help shape curriculum improvements by reviewing schemes of work, embedding key themes like digital skills and sustainability, and supporting the development of new courses or delivery models. You’ll attend departmental meetings, contribute to quality assurance processes, and work closely with colleagues across the college to ensure the course remains effective and learner‑focused.

About You

We’re looking for an experienced and solution‑focused leader who can drive high performance and maintain outstanding quality standards. You’ll have the ability to objectively assess your courses, implement incisive actions for improvement, and work collaboratively with the Programme Manager to meet and exceed the college’s quality expectations.

Key attributes include:
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in line‑managing staff.
  • Ability to lead on Internal Verification and liaise effectively for external quality assurance.
  • A proactive approach to embedding digital technologies and supporting staff development.

  • Supportive ability to give clear and constructive feedback to students to guide learning
  • Understanding and knowledge of the pastoral needs of learners
  • Knowledge of a range of teaching methodologies
  • Highly‑professional, flexible, organised, self‑motivated, positive with a can‑do attitude, supportive, determined, resilient, team‑player
