Job summary

Gi Group are seeking reliable courier drivers for ongoing work with a carrier company based in Newport, delivering to residential addresses. You will complete up to 70 deliveries daily, maintain professionalism, and perform vehicle checks to ensure safety.

Requirements include a valid UK Category B license, DBS check, up to six penalty points, and the ability to provide 5 years of work/education history. Weekly pay and PAYE benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid UK, in-date Category B (car) license.
• DBS check required (can be provided but may take up to two weeks).
• Able to provide 5 years of work / education history for security clearance.
• No more than 6 SP penalty points accepted (no BA/CD/CU/DR/IN endorsements).
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Good customer service skills and a safety-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Complete up to 70 deliveries per day to residential addresses.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism during deliveries.
• Perform vehicle checks and ensure the van is in safe working order.
