Job summary

FedEx Express UK Transportation Limited is hiring a courier to deliver parcels across the local area. You will be the face of FedEx, handling multiple drops with a focus on on-time delivery and customer service.

The role requires a C1 or higher licence, Driver CPC, Tacho card and a strong commitment to safety. Expect 45 hours per week, with pay at £15.01 per hour plus premiums for late-evening and night hours.

Your role

As a FedEx courier you are the face of the business, delivering parcels on time to our customers.

Working hours:

45 per week
Monday - Friday 08:00 - 18:00 less 60 minutes unpaid break.

Salary:

£15.01 per hour. Premia paid for hours worked between 7pm - 10pm, and 10pm - 6am.

What will you going to be doing?

• Collection and delivery of parcels and freight to our customers
• Security of the vehicle and freight while in your vehicle

• Complete procedural checks on your vehicle
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations

What are we looking for?

• A C1 or higher licence along with Driver CPC and Tacho Driver Card
• Someone with great customer service skills
• Great attitude with the ability to work independently and flexibly
• Good understanding of driving rules and regulations
