Job summary

FedEx is hiring a 7.5t Courier at our Bredbury site. You will be the face of the business, delivering parcels on time and maintaining vehicle and freight security.

Working hours are 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:00–17:00, with a salary of £15.01 per hour. A full Class 1 licence with Driver CPC and Tachograph Card is required, along with excellent customer service and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Full valid Class 1 licence with Driver CPC and Tachograph Card.
• Excellent customer service skills and a can-do attitude.
• Ability to work independently and flexibly, following safe driving rules.

Responsibilities

• Collection and delivery of parcels and freight to customers.
• Security of the vehicle and freight while in the vehicle.
• Multi drop deliveries and completion of vehicle checks.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations.
• Maintain professional conduct with customers on-site.

Job description

We are looking for 7.5t Courier to join our team at Bredbury.

Your role

As a FedEx courier you are the face of the business, delivering parcels on time to our customers.

Working hours: 45 hours per week

Working shift: Mon - Fri 07:00 – 17:00

Salary: £15.01 per hour

What will you going to be doing?

• Collection and delivery of parcels and freight to our customers
• Security of the vehicle and freight while in your vehicle
• Multi drop deliveries
• Complete procedural checks on your vehicle
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations

What are we looking for?

• A full valid Class 1 license along with Driver CPC and Tacho Driver Card
• Someone with great customer service skills
• Great attitude with the ability to work independently and flexibly
• Good understanding of driving rules and regulations
