Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is seeking a reliable Counterbalance Forklift Driver in Dagenham, Essex. The role involves safely operating a counterbalance forklift in a busy warehouse and production site, moving goods, loading and unloading, and maintaining orderly stock.

The position requires a valid RTITB/ITSSAR forklift license, warehouse experience, and a strong emphasis on health and safety. The candidate should work Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM, with a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift License (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited).
• Previous forklift driving experience in a warehouse.
• Good knowledge of health and safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive attitude focused on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift to move, load, and unload goods within the warehouse.
• Ensure safe transport of materials to and from designated storage areas.
• Organise and maintain stock, ensuring items are stored safely and securely.
• Perform regular checks and maintenance on the forklift to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
• Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ensure stock levels are accurately recorded and reported.
