A staffing agency is looking for an experienced Forklift Driver for a temporary to permanent role in Bedford. The ideal candidate will have a valid forklift license, at least 2 years of experience, and be able to perform warehouse duties. This job offers day shifts at £14.00 per hour and night shifts at £15.00 per hour, with heavy lifting required.

Job description

Are you an experienced Forklift driver and looking for a new temporary to Permanent role for a fantastic client based in Queens Park in Bedford? If so, Insight Employment are seeking an experienced and accredited in-date Counterbalance Forklift Driver to work for one of our prestigious clients in Bedford. The candidates would need to have prior experience in driving double counterbalance fork handlers (2 pallets at a time), even if the license has expired.

Requirements

• Ideally have an in-date accredited forklift licence. The client can offer refreshers at site.
• Must have had previous experience on a forklift truck ideally a minimum of 2 years.
• Experience driving double counterbalance fork handlers (2 pallets at a time).
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Must be prepared to do warehouse duties along with forklift work.
• Must be physically fit as heavy lifting may be required.
• You should be able to understand health and safety procedures and be able to work in a safe manner.
• Must have good level of written and oral English.
• Able to work within a team or on your own.
• Excellent timekeeping.
• Must be reliable and have a good work ethic.

Shifts & Rates

• Day shift - £14.00 per hour
• Night shift - £15.00 per hour
