Job description

The Best Connection are recruiting for forklift drivers for our busy and expanding client based in Northfleet.

This will be working on a temporary to permanent basis for the right candidates.

Hours of work:

Double Days rotating shift pattern - Monday to Friday

• 06:00 - 14:00 week 1
• 14:00 - 22:00 week 2

Night shift - Sunday to Thursday

• 22:00 - 06:00

Pay rates are as follows:

• Double Days - £14.36 per hour
• Nights - £15.84 per hour
• Overtime after 40 hours - £16.23

Duties will include:

• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Operating counterbalance forklift
• Using other manual handling equipment (LLOP truck and PPT)
• Putting stock into the racking systems
• Picking orders
• Manual handling

You will need to have previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift and a valid counterbalance licence.
