Job summary

CSS are currently recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift driver to join one of our busy clients on a temporary basis around the Earls Colne area. Working times are 8AM-5PM or 12PM-9PM, paying £13 per hour.

The role involves operating the counterbalance forklift and providing hands-on support with handballing and general warehouse tasks. Applicants should have 12 months forklift experience with references and either an in-house or external license.

Qualifications

• Inhouse or external forklift license accepted.
• 12 months forklift experience with references required.
• Own transport preferred due to location and shift times.

Responsibilities

• Operate the counterbalance forklift.
• Move pallets around the warehouse.
• Assist with warehouse duties when not operating the forklift.
• Follow all health & safety procedures on and off the machine.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.

Working times will be Monday to Friday, 8AM till 5PM/12PM till 9PM (£13ph)

We are looking for hard working individuals who will feel confident and capable with the counterbalance forklift. As well as being able to get of the forklift and to help out with handballing, general warehouse duties as directed.

Duties include:

• Operating the counterbalance forklift
• Moving pallets around the warehouse
• Getting off the forklift an helping out with warehouse duties
• Following all H&S Procedures whilst on machine, as well as being in the warehouse
• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace

Requirements:

• Inhouse or external license both accepted
• Relevant Forklift driving experience which will need 12 months experience and references will be required.
• Flexi license desirable
• Own transport preferred due to location and shift times. Public transport not available
