Job description

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a counterbalance forklift to transport materials, products BIG BAGS within the warehouse.
• Handle and lift heavy objects as required, following proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on the forklift and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Perform general warehouse duties.

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid counterbalance forklift license/certification.
• Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse environment is required.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
• Effective verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Location: Barking

Hours: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 16:00

Salary: £14 per hour (Overtime available after 40 hours)
