Job summary

JDR Recruitment are recruiting a Counterbalance FLT Driver for a logistics company based in Adlington, SK10. The role involves safely operating a counterbalance forklift, loading and unloading, and moving stock around the warehouse.

You will work 40 hours per week between 6am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime available. This position is temporary to permanent with JDR acting as an Employment Business.

Qualifications

• Valid and accredited Counterbalance FLT Licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT, NPORS or equivalent).
• Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift truck.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations.
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles in line with company procedures.
• Transport stock to designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders when required.
• Conduct daily pre-use equipment checks and report defects.
• Ensure accurate stock handling and inventory control.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
• Complete paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Support stock counts and inventory audits.
