Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting experienced FLT Drivers, Counterbalance Forklift Drivers, Forklift Truck Drivers, and Warehouse Operatives to join a busy Preston warehouse operation. This temporary ongoing role offers 12-hour shifts with days, nights and weekends available and competitive pay rates.

Applicants must hold a valid RTITB or ITSSAR Counterbalance forklift licence and have previous warehouse/logistics experience.

Qualifications

• Valid RTITB or ITSSAR Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence.
• Experience in warehouse/logistics environments.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts including days, nights and weekends.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate servicing of packaging lines to maintain production flow.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and accurately.
• Transport stock, pallets, and materials throughout the warehouse and logistics areas.
• Support the day-to-day operations of the logistics department.
• Complete routine warehouse and forklift duties as required.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and safe forklift operating practices.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a valid

RTITB or

ITSSAR Counterbalance Forklift Licence looking for an ongoing temporary role offering competitive pay rates, long 12-hour shifts, and the opportunity to work within a fast-paced logistics and warehouse environment.

Key Duties

• Operate a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as an FLT Driver, Counterbalance Forklift Driver, Forklift Truck Driver, Warehouse Operative, or Logistics Operative.
• Experience within a warehouse, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
