Lancashire Constabulary is hosting a transfer/secondment opportunity within Counter Terrorism Policing North West (CTPNW) for an Intelligence-focused PC role at Hutton Headquarters. The post sits in the Intelligence strand and requires active engagement with high-security vetting and national security procedures.

Successful applicants will be seconded to CTPNW c/o GMP or transferred to Lancashire Constabulary, located at Hutton Headquarters.

Qualifications

• Must be a serving Police Officer of a Home Office Force.
• Must be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) level as required.
• UK Nationality is required; dual nationals may be considered in approved circumstances.
• Able to be seconded to CTPNW c/o GMP or transferred to Lancashire Constabulary as part of the posting.

Responsibilities

• Receive, assess and manage information and intelligence per National Standards.
• Disrupt individuals or groups under Counter Terrorism or Domestic Extremism.
• Liaise with the Security Service and National Counter Terrorism Police Operations Centre.
• Act as Case Officer on lead Investigations and Priority Operations.
• Support Fusion and CT Police Operations Room during major covert investigations.
• Attend briefings and present intelligence as appropriate.
• Support other functions within CTPNW as required.
