We are recruiting for a Counter/Kitchen Assistant to work at Florentine, Banbridge.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards
- Upsell additional menu items and promotions to customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area
- Assist with food preparation and assembly as needed
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Manage cash register and perform cash handling duties
- Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and occasional lifting of heavy objects.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is preferred.
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately

Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling and order processing

- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
