Job summary

Bupa UK in Dartford is seeking a Counsellor/Psychotherapist (Face to Face) for part-time hours. The role involves delivering high-quality counselling, assessments, and varied service delivery within a multi-disciplinary clinical team.

You will work 3 days per week with options for 8am-4pm, 2pm-10pm, and weekend shifts, handling up to five appointments daily. The ideal candidate is BACP/NCPS/UKCP accredited with at least three years post-qualification counselling experience and a strong

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality counselling with excellent clinical outcomes.
• Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations to drive evidence-based interventions.
• Offer different models of service delivery, including face to face sessions.
• Adhere to company case management processes and collaborate with clinical leads and wider therapy team.
• Follow sessional limits based on client benefits.
• Provide signposting or onward referrals as needed.
• Offer ad-hoc wellbeing support and coaching.
• Conduct one-off assessments and referral recommendations.
• Deliver group psychoeducation and promote mental wellbeing through remote presentations, workshops, and training.
• Work autonomously within professional guidelines and company policies.
• Attend regular clinical supervision and team meetings.

Session Requirements

• We can offer sessions 8am - 4pm or 2pm - 10pm
• Weekends 8am - 4pm
• Either one 2pm-10pm weekday shift or weekend day shift required

Your Role

As a Counsellor/Psychotherapist, you will provide high-quality, effective, and safe counselling to Bupa customers over the short, medium, or longer term. You will work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team, liaising daily with internal and external services, organisations, and safeguarding agencies.

Qualifications

Essential:

• BACP Accredited Counsellors/Psychotherapists
• NCPS Professional Accredited Registrants
• UKCP Registered Psychotherapeutic Counsellors/Psychotherapists
• 3 years of full-time post-qualification counselling experience.

Please note, accreditation is required at the stage of application.

Desirable

• Training in incident support.
• Corporate experience and business understanding.
