Job summary

Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service in Maidenhead, Berkshire, is seeking a compassionate Counsellor to join our Family Support Team. You will provide emotional and bereavement support to children and families, building trusted relationships from referral through bereavement and beyond.

You will also contribute to the development of our family support services and help deliver family and bereavement support events.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Counselling required.
• Experience in supporting children and families is preferred.
• Bereavement care experience is a plus.

At Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service, we provide specialist care and support to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and their families. We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Counsellor to join our Family Support Team and help us make a meaningful difference to the lives of the families we support.

You will provide emotional and bereavement support to children and their families, building trusted relationships from the point of referral through to bereavement and beyond. You will also contribute to the development of our family support services and help deliver family and bereavement support events.
