A Local Government Council in Peterborough is seeking a Council Tax Officer responsible for the efficient collection and administration of local taxation. The ideal candidate should have experience in Revenues and Benefits, preferably with knowledge of the Capita/MRI Academy Revenues system. Salary: £28,598 - £32,061
The Revenues and Benefits service has a vital role in the billing and collection of Council Tax and Business Rates.
We currently have an opportunity available in both the Council Tax Billing and Council Tax Recovery teams, as a Council Tax Officer.
You will ensure the delivery of efficient and effective local taxation administration and collection.
This role requires the ideal candidate to have experience in working within a Revenues and Benefits department using the Capita/MRI Academy Revenues system. Alternative relevant experience on other equivalent revenues systems will be considered.
Ideally you will also have experience and competency in the use of Information@work and demonstrable experience of delivering local taxation services to customers.
