A local governmental body in the United Kingdom is seeking a Council & Executive Support Officer to support the leadership team. This full-time role involves preparing meeting agendas, providing administrative support, and overseeing governance functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organisational and customer service skills. Bring your exceptional organisational and governance skills to a key role supporting the leadership of the Shire of York. As our Council & Executive Support Officer, you will provide vital assistance to the Chief Executive Officer, Councillors, and Executive Leadership Team by coordinating Council meetings, governance activities, and executive administration. This position offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution while working in a supportive and community-focused environment.
The salary for the position is offered in accordance with Level 6 of the Shire of York Inside Staff Industrial Agreement 2025 ($88,723.73 - $93,942.00). Placement within the range will be determined by the applicant’s age, skills and experience.
