Overview

JOB TITLE: Costs Draftsman / Lawyer

HOURS: Full Time, 35 hours a week. Flexi start and finish times.

Location: Bristol. Remote.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Commission OTE £60K

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing a varied caseload of claimant personal injury and clinical negligence matters from inception through to completion. This includes preparing detailed budgets, drafting and negotiating costs schedules, composing points of reply, serving bills of costs, and ensuring timely and accurate case progression throughout the entire life cycle.

Experience Required

• Experience managing claimant caseload - Essential
• Proficient in the use of Costs Master - Essential.
• At least 3 years experience as costs draftsman relating to the above day to day responsibilities - essential
• Qualified costs Lawyer - desired
