Role Description

As a successful OTM Sales Area Director you will manage, nurture and grow your existing client base, leading a dynamic sales team that takes an entrepreneurial approach to selling, training and retaining clients on the full suite of OTM products.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a team of sales professionals within your area.
  • Provide guidance, coaching and mentorship to ensure team members are motivated, productive and focused on achieving targets.
  • Drive sales initiatives to meet or exceed revenue targets, analysing market trends, identifying customer segments, developing strategies and participating in high‑level sales activities such as negotiations and key account management.
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitive landscape and industry trends within your area to identify opportunities, mitigate threats and make data‑driven decisions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, agencies, developers and other stakeholders, addressing concerns and ensuring high customer satisfaction to foster long‑term partnerships.
  • Monitor and analyse KPIs related to sales, revenue, market share and customer satisfaction, preparing regular reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations and quality standards, implementing best practices and conducting regular audits.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, market developments and best practices in real estate, technology and sales management.
  • Continuously develop your skills, knowledge and leadership capabilities to excel in the role and contribute to your team’s success.
Qualifications
  • People‑management experience.
  • Proven track record of sales success; experience selling property portals or other online portals preferred, but other sales backgrounds will be considered.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain and grow clients over the medium and long term while providing excellent service.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and objection‑handling skills with the confidence and patience to make complex proposals.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to metrics effectively.
  • Degree level education or equivalent experience.
  • Consultative selling style with account‑management techniques to grow accounts over time.
  • A passion for building relationships with clients and helping them problem‑solve.
  • Ability to navigate a large organisation and align decision‑makers, influencers and blockers.
