The role

As a Cost Specialist, you’ll be part of a team that’s shaping the future of nuclear energy through innovation and collaboration.

Day-to-day, you’ll be at the heart of our Nuclear Services workstream, supporting a team of Cost Engineers and reporting into the Senior Cost Engineer. You’ll play a vital role in delivering accurate financial reporting and project controls, helping us meet customer expectations and drive continuous improvement.

  • Supporting cost and project controls activities across the Spares and Kitting business
  • Producing and presenting financial reports and statistical data to inform decision-making
  • Managing delivery performance against customer KPIs
  • Contributing to the development and improvement of our in-house finance forecasting system
  • Collaborating with commercial teams to ensure contract compliance and financial accuracy

This is a permanent role, working 37 hours per week, based at Leicester, Leicestershire. Hybrid working patterns are available, with 2–3 days in the office.

Essential experience of the Cost Specialist
  • Working hands-on with profit and loss accounts, cash flow and account balancing
  • Managing commercial elements of contracts, including payment terms and conditions
  • Delivering financial insights and reporting in a project-based environment
Qualifications for the Cost Specialist
  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Finance, Business, Engineering) – preferred
Security Clearance
