Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Cost Manager to join our Buildings & Places Infrastructure team in Exeter, delivering cost management across major water and environment infrastructure projects. You will manage feasibility estimates, cost planning, procurement, tendering, value engineering and final accounts, with a focus on NEC4 PSC/ECC contracts.

You'll work in a collaborative, client‑facing role, supporting multi‑organisation teams, and maintaining excellent relationships with clients such as Southwest

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• MRICS accreditation or working towards it is desirable.
• Experience in cost management on large infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive cost management from inception to completion on infrastructure projects.
• Manage cost planning, procurement, tender documents, value engineering and final accounts.
• Maintain client relationships and communicate with multidisciplinary teams.

Skills

Degree in Quantity Surveying

MRICS (or working towards)

Cost management

NEC4 PSC/ECC knowledge

Infrastructure/Water sector experience
