Turner & Townsend’s Sheffield Real Estate team is looking for a Cost Manager to guide clients and their professional teams on a range of iconic projects across South Yorkshire. You’ll advise on cost planning, procurement, and post-contract cost control to deliver best value, while collaborating with conservators, architects and engineers.

The ideal candidate will have a proven cost management or quantity surveying background, with an RICS or equivalent qualification and a degree or HNC.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering cost management across full project lifecycles.
• Professional qualification such as RICS preferred.
• Degree or HNC level qualification to meet role requirements.

Responsabilités

• Commission Management, to include assisting on feasibility studies and writing procurement reports.
• Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.
• Tendering and procuring, including managing the pre-qualification stage.
• Dealing effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes.
• Taking personal responsibility for making cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects.
• Producing monthly post contract cost reports and presenting them to the client.
• Negotiating and agreeing final accounts.
• Interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages.
