Job summary

Turner & Townsend has an exciting opportunity for a Cost Manager to join our Newcastle Real Estate team to guide clients and their professional teams on a number of exciting projects in the Northeast.

You’ll collaborate with leading conservators, architects and engineers to ensure value for money and provide qualitative and commercial guidance throughout the project lifecycle. This role emphasizes cost management expertise with a hands-on, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering cost management/quantity surveying across full project lifecycle.
• Ideally professional qualification (RICS or similar).
• Degree or HNC level qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Feasibility studies and procurement reporting.
• Estimate and cost plan production and presentation.
• Tendering and procurement management, including pre-qualification stages.
• Manage post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
• Carry out cost checks and valuations on large projects.
