Turner & Townsend is a leading global management consultancy delivering cost and project management expertise across real estate and infrastructure. The team supports hotels, residential developments and commercial office schemes with feasibility, cost planning, tendering and post-contract cost control.

We seek a qualified Quantity Surveyor with MRICS (or working towards) and UK cost management experience in real estate to lead cost management activities, collaborate with clients and drive value

Formación

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying (essential).
• MRICS qualification or working towards (preferred).
• UK Cost Management experience within the Real Estate/Property sector.
• Experience working on larger projects and on both new build and fit-out schemes.
• Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience.

Responsabilidades

• Support feasibility studies and procurement reporting.
• Prepare cost estimates and cost plans with presentation of final costs.
• Manage tendering activities including qualification, lists, preliminaries, analysis and reporting.
• Oversee post-contract cost variations and change control processes.
• Conduct cost checks and valuations for accuracy and consistency.
• Produce and present monthly post-contract cost reports.
• Contribute to value engineering exercises and final accounts negotiation.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants and stakeholders through all project stages.
• Lead cost management teams and promote accountability and performance.
• Identify opportunities to grow client relationships and support business growth.
• Assist with bid documentation and continuous improvement of cost management processes.

Job Description

Role Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of feasibility studies and procurement reports.
• Prepare cost estimates and cost plans, including presentation of final cost plans.
• Manage tendering activities, including pre-qualification processes, tender lists, preliminaries, tender analysis, and reporting.
• Manage post-contract cost variations and change control processes.
• Conduct cost checks and valuations, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Produce and present monthly post-contract cost reports.
• Contribute to value engineering exercises.
• Negotiate and agree final accounts.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders throughout all project stages.
• Lead cost management teams, promoting accountability and high performance.
• Identify opportunities to develop existing client relationships and support business growth.
• Assist with the preparation of bid documentation.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of cost management procedures, templates, and service offerings.
• Ensure key project information and lessons learned are captured within internal knowledge management systems.
• Monitor financial performance using FMS.
• Identify and elevate opportunities for process improvement.
• Review commission management quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying
• MRICS qualified or working towards
• UK Cost Management experience within the Real Estate/Property sector
• Experience working on larger projects
• Experience working on new build and fit-out projects
• Excellent communication skills and client facing.
