Job summary

Benjamin Edwards Recruitment is recruiting a Finance Analyst / Cost Ledger Analyst to join a well-established and successful business based in Newark. Qualifications

• Experience in a finance or accounting role.
• AAT qualification or studying toward accounting is welcomed.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and analysing financial information to ensure costs, revenue and margins are accurately recorded.
• Supporting month-end reporting, including preparing journals and accruals.
• Investigating discrepancies and identifying missing or incorrectly allocated costs.
• Monitoring revenue recognition to ensure sales are recorded in the correct accounting period.
• Reviewing stock valuations, provisions and inventory-related financial information.
