Job description

Responsibilities

• Support and deliver commissions in area of efficiency & value identification, assurance & continuous improvement, construction economics research & analysis, plus general cost intelligence services.
• Have experience in one or more of the following technical disciplines:
• Cost Model and / or Cost Estimate development
• Statistical Analysis to support benchmarking and efficiency exercises
• Business Cases development and Cost Benefit Analysis
• Defining business models
• Identify cost reduction opportunities through benchmarking and efficiency exercises
• Possess analysis capabilities which be applied to client and industry datasets to create data-driven solutions.
• Work with the leadership team to mature and develop service offerings with practical and viable solutions for our clients.
• Provide assistance to senior management in the preparation of technical and financial proposals
• Ensure effective delivery through project and financial management for complex assignments.
• Maintain high quality professional outputs.

As a Consultant at AECOM, you will have exposure to many of the above tasks, utilising your sector knowledge, skills and experience, and benefiting from exposure to new areas of study and research. You will be responsible for deliverables within your projects and initiatives, driving innovation with the support of colleagues. You will be technically excellent, providing leading solutions to clients that solve problems in an efficient and effective manner. The successful candidate(s) will work collaboratively to deliver a range of projects, as well as supporting senior leaders in the practice and wider Business Unit to grow the practice. Working on large-scale infrastructure and capital programmes you will have an opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients including high-profile projects, working alongside other construction professionals in multi-disciplinary teams. You will need to be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
