The role involves implementing project controls strategies, maintaining accurate cost data, and collaborating with multiple engineering teams. Ideal candidates will have an HND qualification or equivalent, with a focus on analytical skills and experience in project controls. Competitive rates are offered with a hybrid working model.
Cost Engineer - Major Infrastructure Project | Somerset | 12 month contract | £275pd PAYE / £375pd Umbrella
We're supporting one of the UK's flagship energy infrastructure programmes - a multi-billion-pound new build project that's shaping the future of low-carbon power.
As part of a large Integrated Project Controls team, we're looking for an experienced Cost Engineer to help drive cost management and forecasting excellence across multiple engineering and construction workstreams. This is a great opportunity to work at the heart of a major national project, supporting the successful delivery of a complex and high-profile build.
You’ll work within the Cost & Forecasting team, helping to implement project controls strategies, maintain accurate cost data, and provide insightful analysis to key stakeholders. You’ll liaise closely with Project Managers, Planners, and Engineers to ensure that cost, schedule, and performance data are aligned across all project areas.
Rate: £275pd PAYE / £375pd Umbrella
Location: Hinkley Point C, Somerset / Hybrid (3 days per week on site)
