We are supporting a global manufacturing business in North Nottingham to recruit a Cost Accountant. You will report to the UK Finance Director and be responsible fordelivering accurate cost analysis and insights that drive operational performance.

Cost Accountant - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract - £50-60k, day rate may be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and report on manufacturing costs, variances, and margins.
• Maintain and improve standard costing and inventory valuation.
• Partner with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes

About You

• Qualified/part-qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) or QBE
• Extensive experience in manufacturingcost accounting.
• Strong systems experience
• Commercially minded and confident working cross-functionally.

We are looking for someone available to start a new assignment in the next 3 weeks ideally.
