Job Description

In the role you are responsible for making things happen - by making the complex easier and bringing people together to create success. You will lead complex programmes that involve many teams cross‑functionally within COS and partner with technology experts within the group. You drive strategy of the overall solution ensuring a focus on value creation and team empowerment to accelerate on the journey towards common strategic goals and exceptional customer/business results. You create joint plans, drive excellent execution and follow‑up, always in tight collaboration with key stakeholders and contributors.

What you will do:
  • Planning & Definition: Define and scope the programme based on business goals and objectives. Create timelines & roadmaps clearly identifying dependencies and risks with mitigation strategies. Provide full overview of planning across all functions.
  • Execution: Execute complex programmes across multiple functions by sequencing delivery of the programme in an optimal way. Assess, communicate and manage changes as they occur. Be the single point of contact into technology teams.
  • Governance: Secure programme milestones and governance by co‑leading Steercos with accountability for business readiness and implementation.
  • Budget & Resource: Develop and manage programme budget identifying risks and savings opportunities and provide financial reporting. Track resource allocation and make data‑driven decisions on capacity and future requirements.
  • Value Creation & Reporting: Monitor performance metrics across the programme aligning with business goals. Facilitate dashboard creation and periodic reviews to analyse performance trends focusing on actively maximising outcomes and strategic impact.
  • Stakeholder & Change Management: Engage and manage cross functional stakeholders and establish trustworthy relationships.

What you need to succeed
  • Systems & Process: Deep knowledge of complex technology environments and proven simplification of the approach to aid speed to market.
  • Data Driven Decision Making: Utilise data and customer insights to inform priorities, track performance, and improve strategic capabilities.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate forward plans, progress and results clearly to align all stakeholders and secure confidence in the programme execution.
  • Programme Execution: Strong understanding of project‑ and program management frameworks as well as agile methodologies. Oversee multiple workstreams/initiatives under one programme, coordinating dependencies and aligning overall objectives.
  • Collaboration: Build strong partnerships across cross‑functional teams, influencing both technology and business. Contribute actively to the Project Management community by sharing best practices and driving continuous improvement, while operating at a strategic level beyond individual projects.
  • Innovation: Actively seek new technology solutions and innovations to meet our go‑to‑market strategies and help COS achieve business and customer goals.
  • Problem Solving: Strong problem solving and decision making aptitude to tackle intricate technology challenges.
