WE'RE HIRING: Corrugation Extrusion Operator/Setter - West Bromwich

Job Title: Corrugation Extrusion Setter
Location: West Bromwich
Hours: 48 per week - 2-week rotating shift pattern

• Week 1: Mon-Thu, 6am-6pm
• Week 2: Mon-Thu, 6pm-6am

Pay: £12.40 - £13.00 per hour + 22% / 25% shift allowance

About the Role

Workforce Manufacturing are currently looking for an experienced Corrugation Extrusion Setter to join one of our well-established manufacturing clients in West Bromwich. You'll support the production of high-quality flexible piping and hose products, working primarily with Nylon and Polypropylene materials.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong extrusion experience seeking a stable, long-term role with great benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate corrugation extrusion machinery safely and efficiently
• Carry out tool changes, cleaning, and equipment maintenance
• Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality
• Keep accurate production and quality records
• Maintain a clean, organised work area in line with 5S
• Support continuous improvement activities
• Follow all health & safety procedures
• Complete any additional tasks assigned by the Team Leader

• Proven experience in plastic extrusion, ideally making hoses or pipes
• Strong experience with Nylon & Polypropylene (blown film not applicable)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
