PRO TAX in Oxford is seeking a Corporate Tax Senior to handle a diverse portfolio of corporate tax work with a growing tax team. The role offers hybrid working and exposure to both compliance and advisory projects, with direct client contact and progression opportunities.
Candidates should have a solid grounding in corporation tax, be studying towards or hold ATT/CTA/ACA/ACCA, and possess a strong technical foundation and attention to detail to drive value for clients.
A growing Oxford accountancy practice is looking for a Corporate Tax Senior to join its tax team and take on a broad mix of corporate tax work. This would suit someone who has already built a solid grounding in corporation tax and now wants a role where they can develop beyond pure compliance. You'll work with a varied client base, have direct contact with clients and gradually become involved in increasingly technical and advisory-led work. The firm is open to candidates at different stages of their tax career, so you don't necessarily need to arrive as the finished article.
You'll work across a portfolio of businesses ranging from entrepreneurial owner-managed companies through to larger and more complex corporate groups.
You could already be working as a Corporate Tax Senior, Tax Semi-Senior or experienced Tax Associate and looking for the next step.
You'll ideally have experience within an accountancy practice and be studying towards, or have completed, a relevant qualification such as ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA. They're also happy to consider someone from a broader accountancy background who has developed strong corporation tax experience and now wants to specialise.
You don't need to know everything on day one. They're looking for someone with a good technical foundation, strong attention to detail and the ambition to keep progressing.
This is a strong option for someone who enjoys corporate tax but wants more ownership, more client exposure and a clearer route towards advisory work.
