Job summary

Vaisto Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join the Liverpool office. You will manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients, focusing on compliance with opportunities to participate in advisory work and liaise with HMRC as required.

You will be part of a supportive team, working closely with Tax Partners, delivering high-quality tax services and guiding junior colleagues. Candidates with CTA/ACA/ACCA qualifications or equivalent experience are invited to apply.

Qualifications

• CTA, ACA or ACCA qualification, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a corporate tax-focused role within an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK corporation tax legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients.
• Ability to review tax computations and returns and provide guidance to junior colleagues.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive, approachable attitude and the ability to work effectively within a small team.
• Interest in undertaking some corporate tax advisory work alongside core compliance responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of corporate tax compliance services to a varied portfolio of clients (Liverpool area).
• Review corporation tax computations and returns for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage deadlines and workflow across the portfolio; liaise with HMRC when required.
• Act as a main point of contact for clients and provide tax advice.
• Review junior staff work and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with Partners on corporate tax matters and opportunities for advisory work.
