Job description

Our client is a Big 4 accountancy firm. They seek corporate tax staff to deal with a mix of client compliance delivery and advisory work. It is likely that you will be ACA, ICAS or CTA qualified with proven UK corporate tax experience. You will get the opportunity to work on a wide range of clients from dynamic OMB’s to large international groups. Would consider someone who has mainly worked in industry or candidates form smaller firms looking to join a larger practice. The key to these roles is the ability to build long term client relationships. Day to day your role will involve:
• Being one of the main points of contact on a portfolio of clients on day-to-day tax matters and working with Partners, Directors and Senior Managers on larger client accounts.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and understanding the client’s business.
• Managing tax advisory projects by providing UK corporation tax input and overseeing the successful delivery of commercially viable and technically excellent advice including working with other areas of tax and overseas members firms to incorporate their input into advice.
• Ensuring clients are kept up to date with emerging corporate and wider tax developments impacting their business.
• Managing the delivery of UK corporation tax compliance services.
• Supervising the work of junior members of staff and providing coaching to support their development.
• Assisting our Partners, Directors and Senior Managers with client account management, including complying with appropriate quality and risk management procedures and financial management.
• Seeking out and pursuing business development opportunities with clients and targets and actively participating with Senior Managers, Directors / Partners in business development activities.
