Overview

REED Practice are working in partnership with an established and growing Accountancy Practice based near Ringwood. This is a unique role that offers growth potential, working with existing in demand SME business circa £30 million turnaround (Rather than larger corporate).

This is a key role for an experience Corporate Tax Accountant looking to maximise existing knowledge and to make this role their own.

Corporate Tax Manager

Full Time - Flexible hours - Hybrid working

Salary - Open (Circa £65,000 per annum)

Key Responsibilities
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and review UK corporation tax computations and returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Tax Advisory: Provide strategic tax advice on matters such as mergers and acquisitions, group reorganisations, international expansion, and exit planning.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, acting as their primary tax contact.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing training and overseeing their work.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities to grow the firm’s tax services, contribute to proposals, and participate in client pitches.
  • Technical Support: Liaise with audit teams and other departments to ensure tax disclosures and compliance align with financial reporting.
  • Project Management: Lead or support delivery of complex tax projects, including R&D claims, Patent Box, and transfer pricing documentation.
Skills and Qualifications
