Kreston Reeves in Horsham is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to lead UK and international tax advisory and compliance for a diverse client base. You will report to Senior Management and the Corporate Tax Partner, balancing advisory work with CT compliance and developing a small team in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
The role offers hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 at home, with travel to Sussex, Kent, and London as needed. Prior CTA or equivalent experience is essential.
Are you looking to take on a pivotal role in our Corporate Tax department? As the Corporate Tax Manager, you will report directly to our Senior Management team and Corporate Tax Partner, ensuring the department runs smoothly and efficiently. Based in Horsham, you'll enjoy a hybrid working model with three days in the office and two days from home, plus occasional travel to our offices in Sussex, Kent, and London.
The Kreston Reeves Corporate Tax team is made up of 25 team members who work across our offices and form part of the wider tax service line of nearly 100 staff. You will be working for clients across the firm which allows for you to work on a variety of projects. The work is fast paced, and deadline driven, therefore, you will need good organisation and priority management skills.
You will be serving a diverse range of corporate clients, from entrepreneurial growth companies and larger corporations to multinational groups, FCA-regulated companies, and AIM-listed PLCs. This is your chance to work with a variety of industries and make a real impact.
We're looking for someone with extensive knowledge of UK corporation tax and its interaction with international tax matters. Your broad knowledge of other business taxes will help our clients stay fully compliant while uncovering valuable tax planning opportunities.
You will be actively involved in tax advisory assignments. Over the past six months, this has included detailed analysis of reorganisations, demergers, loan relationships, EIS schemes, R&D tax credits, employee share schemes, due diligence on acquisitions, and advising on business sales. We estimate that 50% of your time will be on advisory work and 50% on CT compliance.
